Summer Concert

By a Taddlegraph Staff Writer

The annual summer concert took place in the Park yesterday evening. The entertainment was provided by The Taddletown Orchestra and Brass Band. The concert opened with the Band playing the ever-popular Clog Dance, followed by hits like YMCA and Eye Level. After a short interval, the Orchestra played Handel’s Music for the Royal Fireworks, which were accompanied by actual fireworks. There was a surprise appearance by the cast of the popular television show Captain Sea Cat who danced a hornpipe to the delight of all.

To round off the evening, the Taddletown Strathspey and Reel Association and the Taddletown Line Dancing Club lead everyone in a range of enjoyable dances, both old and new.
