Royal Teddy College
The study of the art and science of teddying has never been so much in demand as in recent years. For over a century, teddies have been at the heart of defending their cuddlers from all dangers, both perceived and real.
Since 2018, when we were granted degree-awarding powers by His Majesty, we have been looking at how we can best support teddies in their ongoing professional life.
We realized that there were bears who would like to understand the science of teddying as much as the mystical arts. It is for that reason that we have been developing the Master of Teddying Science degree and are proud to launch it for the second half of the academic year 2020.
Although we had hoped that we would begin teaching on the course in January 2020, we learned that there were concerns about a global pandemic in the human population and had to move very quickly to develop our Diploma in Pandemic Support, which has now been delivered to over 2 million bears and we expect this to rise to 3 million by the end of the year.
If you would like to have a look around the Royal Teddy College, we would be happy to welcome you on an Open Day or at another time.
